Magic Touch - Maintenance Mode Enabled

Updates: 7.24.2008. Oh my god. Oh my god. I can't believe I'm doing this. I am kinda forcing myself to not go back and take off maintance mode and forget this. But I think now is the time I might actually do it. Okay I better spill it out...I didn't mean to babble but I just want you all to know this is so difficult. MT is shut down. (Obviously) It's not because of activity or of the people (I love you all), it is because I'm getting ready to stop RPing. (OHMYGOD I SAID IT!) Rping has slowly become less special to me. It used to be fun, now it feels like a chore. Forcing myself to post, and forcing myself to advertise to get members. Forcing myself to make images. I used to love it, but now it's different, I guess I changed.

MT has been open since jaunuary 2007! Wow, I almost want to cry. I miss you all so much already. Truthfully, I was thinking of closing months ago, but it was because I didn't want to let you guys down, and I thought that I was just feeling museless, and that my "spark" would come back. I can't picture never coming onto MT and rping with you guys and being Deception or Fantasy. It's almost enough to make me reopen it right now. Who knows, maybe I won't be able to stay away from rping, maybe I will reopen this place in the future. But for now, this is goodbye.

Magic Touch is a equine land infested with magic; it's a mere shadow of the mortal world. Most of the inhabitants have a magic power. With magic comes chaos. This magic is difficult to control. Some will be driven to insanity. Murderers have just been given another weapon. But in order to understand what could cause such chaos, first you'll have to understand why.

You'll have to listen as they describe the corrupted spectors, who walk among the living. They try to convert the living by forcing them into commiting sucide. As if that's not crazy enough, the mortals mock and shun anyone with powers. Oh, and the evil ones who are allowed to torment without consequence. You will have to learn what it's like to be a equine who suddenly realizes they have a power that they have no idea how to control. A newcomer who has no one to trust except yourself in a world full of strangers. You'll have to understand what it's really like to be thrown into a life where anything can happen.
